The comparison group was limited to Dahlia Audio's lineup, and since the listening was done through a reference device over a short period of a few days, it may contain inaccurate information, so please refer to only the rough information.

Playlist
Sharing this as a Tidal playlist because I wanted to listen to a variety of songs, so it's not a list of pre-selected songs. It's a list of songs that I added one by one after listening to them and thinking that they might be good for this song. (A few more songs may be added later. :-)
Sound
First of all, I have confirmed that the overall tonal balance in terms of stereo status and frequency sweep was consistently good from the very low range to the very high notes through a sound check. Please keep in mind that the information about the sound is quite subjective, and the existing lineup was written based on memory, so if there is any difference, please feel free to correct it in the comments.
Look back on my memories of the existing lineup, it could be summarized like below
- Agares (discountinued): Although it is a silver wire, the volume of the low range is more prominent compared to the silver wire, but the bass does not spread like a copper wire. The treble is soft and not sharp.
- Barbatos: The sound density of the entire range is high, and compared to the later lineup, it produces accurate sound with a short reverberation to provide a reference sound. Density is higher compared to other lineups.
- Andras: Compared to the previous work, the solidity of the bass is similar, but the openness of the mid and high tones is better (in this respect, the bass may not feel as prominent as compared to Barbatos), and the reverberation is more added, so it is better in terms of listening.
- Crocell: While maintaining the advantages of the above cable, the reverberation spreads relatively long, and the listening experience is improved due to better detail and better separation.
Personally, from a sentimental point of view, I think it is good to have reverberations and sounds decorated in the form of strikes or overtones well incorporated throughout the music, and Crocell expresses these sounds well.
Its characteristics are evident in the band and jazz genres, where the vibration of strings and picking are well captured, and the subtle striking sounds of cymbals and hi-hats are expressed well separated while maintaining an appropriate distance. For example, the former stands out in the 3rd movement of Paganini's Violin Concerto No. 2, Op.7 performed by Salvatore Acardo, and the latter stands out in Dave Brubeck's Take Five.
In songs where vocals are important, the vocals are positioned appropriately, and instruments and synths are expressed relatively well in the background. Also, because the reverberation was good, I was able to enjoy it more comfortably than before.
Build Quality
The design is so pretty and fancy! I tried to take a picture as pretty as possible, but it doesn't come out well in a photo. The actual is more gorgeous! Depending on the angle and amount of light, it takes on a pretty pink color, which greatly increases your satisfaction when you go out and enjoy the sound. Haha, even though it is a bit thick, it is flexible and handles very well.
Summary
Every time a new lineup is launched, it brings a fresh shock, and this Crocell is no joke. Thanks to Crocell, it was a short period of time, but for the first time in a while, I was able to listen to the music I liked with a focus on music itself rather than analysis. I really liked the neat and soft feel of the last Andras I owned, but Crocell went one step further. This is what I felt every time the existing lineup was released, but I wondered if this price was right because the price was set low compared to the quantity involved, but this thinking is especially harsh at Crocell. If I were to recommend a cable that has a pretty design and allows you to immerse yourself in music, I would proudly shout out Crocell.
